A panel discussion on ESG, with focus on the ‘E’nvironmental aspect
The panel discussion will focus on the development, investment and growth in the ‘E’nvironmental sector. They will look at the hurdles to securing investment, discuss the experiences of two operating companies in the space, as well as looking at the development of carbon credits in the renewable and environmental sector.
Chairperson of the panel: Hilary Stone is an Honorary Research Fellow at Imperial College, London, where her core area of expertise is waste at its interface with product and by extension, the value of waste to renewable energy development. Tim Jervis is a co-founder of Verus Energy, an energy from waste development company. The company started in late 2008 and has gone on to develop projects across the UK currently valued at over £500m. Ana Haurie, CEO, Respira International, a forward thinking Carbon Credit trading company working with major corporations to supply carbon credits sourced from environmentally credible projects. Mary Sweere, CEO, Fluid Ice Family Office, a company that supports and invests in projects in the environmental space particularly in the area of material recovery (recycling).
