Angel Network Breakfast

Angel investors from the Columbia community are welcome to reconnect over a cup of coffee at our third networking breakfast, and exchange ideas and investments opportunities.

Format:
Four startups will be invited to pitch for five minutes and answer investors' questions for the following 10 minutes. The rest of this one-hour session is dedicated to networking.
Selected Companies:

• Growth Finance, an SME financing platform in Spain (CBS alumni-led venture).
  
• The Wild Peanut, a premium natural-flavoured peanut butter (www.thewildpeanut.co.uk).
  
• Edxus Group (www.edxusgroup.com), a roll-up vehicle in the European e-learning sector.
  
• Microtest Diagnostics (www.microtestdx.com), an allergy test provider.
  

Venue:
We have a reserved area at the back of Caffe Concerto (the Green Park location, not the Piccadilly Circus one). Breakfast of your choice is included in the ticket price.

Selection criteria:

• Geography (priority to London-based companies)
• Team track record and skills
• Stage of development (you need to have at least a prototype or live service)
• Market traction (e.g. revenues, media coverage, grants, third-party funding)
• Valuation expectations
• Referrals by our community members
