Back to Work Post-Career Break | Opportunities for Returning Talent

Please join alumni from Columbia Business School and Stanford University for wine, networking, and a lively panel discussion on opportunities for returning to work following a career-break, as presented by leaders from three innovative companies with a mission to hire women back into the work-force post-career breaks.
 
Panellists:

Dominie Moss – Founder of The Return Hub.  The Return Hub is a unique recruitment company designed to fill a significant gap in the executive search market by connecting women with a gap in their CV to organisations with a corresponding gap in female talent. Dominie has 20 years’ experience in the Financial sector, 13 of which are in Executive Search.  Prior to setting up The Return Hub, she worked at JD Haspel as a Partner and co-lead of the Global Banking and Markets practice. Previously, she was Managing Director at Sheffield Haworth, where she established the FX practice before becoming Global Head of Fixed Income and Currencies. During her career she has completed numerous leadership assignments for a range of global clients in FX, rates, credit and emerging markets in sales and marketing, trading, structuring, e-commerce and corporate risk solutions.

Carolanne Minashi – Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion, UBS.  Carolanne oversees the UBS Career Comeback program, which hires women who have taken a 2-year career break or more into permanent Director-level positions across different desks at UBS in the UK and Switzerland.  Prior to joining UBS, Carolanne spent 29 years at Citi and has an extensive background in senior HR leadership positions including Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Management and Employee Relations.  She achieved recognition and acclaim for Citi as a best practice employer through numerous Awards, she led and authored a Global Study looking at the root causes leading to senior Female Attrition. 

Geraldine Gallacher – Managing Director and Master Coach, the Executive Coaching Consultancy.  Geraldine started ECC in 1994 and now has 35 coaches internationally, serving a wide range of industries.  ECC has a particular specialism in the female journey and has coached over 7000 women through key career transition periods.  They work with many market-leading organisations including investment banks and law firms, to improve their talent pipeline and realise their diversity strategies.  Geraldine speaks regularly on the subject of “More Women at the Top”, she is a member of the Development Committee of the City Women’s Network, and sits on the Women’s Development Board for Microloan, a charity which offers small business loans to women in Malawi and Zambia.
