State of the School & Columbia Entrepreneurs Networking Reception
Please join alumni for a presentation from Kajal Sanghrajka '12 about the Columbia Business Lab, the School's new incubator of graduating student businesses. Additionally, Alain-Gabriel Courtines ’00, formerly a director at Intel Capital and an experienced private investor in Europe and the United States, will share his experiences finding and investing in early stage businesses.
Sandy Roberts, Senior Associate Director, External Relations and Development, will also share an update on the State of the School, including the new campus in Manhattanville, new programs, and the Pan Asia Reunion in Singapore in 2014.
Columbia Business Labs is a new initiative that will provide co-working space and various other resources for recent alumni of the Columbia Business School MBA program that are dedicated to launching successful new ventures. In its pilot year, the office space will accommodate 21 ventures that will graduate from the program by Summer 2013. Following successful completion of the pilot program, each year new classes of CBS’ graduating entrepreneurs will be competitively selected to become part of the Columbia Business Lab.
A networking reception will follow. Registration is mandatory - we regret that no walk-ins are accepted.
Kindly organized by Cabe Franklin '06 and Meeta Gournay '08.
