CBS CYBERSECURITY SESSION: MISINFORMATION, FRAUD, AND RANSOMWAREIn today’s interconnected world, technology shapes every aspect of our lives—but so do the growing threats that exploit it. Cybercriminals and nation-states are leveraging misinformation, fraud, and ransomware to target individuals, businesses, and even entire populations.
As a CBS alum and business leader, this is your chance to deepen your understanding of these critical cybersecurity issues. Join us for an exclusive virtual session where we’ll explore: • Misinformation Campaigns: How nation-states manipulate populations through misinformation, impacting society at large. Learn how interventions in elections serve as striking examples of this growing phenomenon. • Fraud and Ransomware: How these attacks operate, their devastating effects on businesses, and what steps you can take to protect your organization. This session will be facilitated by Christina Kemper, CBS ’08, and features Jason Steer, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Recorded Future—a leading cyber threat intelligence company.
