Defining European Real Estate Investment in the New Normal

Join a panel discussion focusing on the investment market for real estate market in UK and Europe.  The conversation will draw on observed trends and will seek to illuminate why and what people require when they invest in European Real Estate. 

Topics that will be addressed will include:

  • Divergence between prime and secondary real estate in UK & beyond
  • Investment differences between different European countries, 
  • Risk appetite of capital for differentiated sub-sectors,
  • Risk appetite for income versus development type investments and
  • Availability of financing in different markets. 
There will be a short panel discussion followed by a Q&A session.

Patrick Long, Managing Director of Real Estate at Lazard

Hiroaki Iizawa, Managing Director of Kajima Europe
Kajima Europe Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kajima Corporation, from its London headquarters the company manages subsidiaries in the UK, Czech Republic, France, and Poland. Its principal activities are property investment, development and construction. 

Jens Bech, Head of Risk of Kent Reliance
Kent Reliance and KRBS are UK trading brands of OneSavings Bank plc. which is controlled by J.C. Flowers.  Kent Reliance Building Society has a history stretching over 150 years in Kent and now with the backing of J.C. Flowers has a plan to become a national player in the UK.
