A SATURDAY MORNING IN THE ART WORLDJoin alumni for a stroll through the art world in North and South Mayfair. Led by Hugh Pilkington, architect, art critic and curator, we will see and discuss art from various periods showing at 'primary' and 'secondary' market galleries. We'll visit a range of gallery types: mega-dealers, ground-floor, brass-plate, bell, scholarly, and ultra-commercial galleries. We will discuss who makes value, who makes history, and who makes money.
Whether you're an art lover, collector, or just curious, there is something for everyone to discover. Space is limited. Organised by Maren Coleman '06 |
