      • brief overview of employment law considerations that may be surprising to those more familiar with employment-at-will US laws;
      • non-competes and reimbursement clauses in contracts as they relate to immigration expenses that an employer has paid
    • Coming or Going? A brief look at immigration considerations for:
      • Remaining in the UK or Returning “Home”; and
      • Considerations for US Citizens
Speakers:

Michelle Chance, Partner in Employment (Kingsley Napley) - Michelle is a highly experienced employment and partnership lawyer. She advises corporate clients and has also acted for high profile corporate and senior executive clients in complex and sensitive employment and partnership matters.  Her clients are from various industry sectors including law, accountancy, recruitment, financial services, insurance, medicine and
architecture.

Ilda de Sousa, Senior Associate in Immigration (Kingsley Napley) - Ilda has more than nine years of UK corporate immigration law experience, managing large company clients as well as handling complex matters for individuals, British nationality applications, appeals and applications under European Law. She frequently
speaks on immigration matters.

Amanda Shipley, Partner in Immigration (TGL Shipley Parisi) - Amanda is a US immigration attorney in London and a member of the New York bar. She has practiced US immigration law since 2005 and has extensive experience with a wide range of business, employment and family-related immigration issues including consular processing.
