UKIB CEO John Flint - A 20 Billion Investment Commitment for Net Zero
The CBS Alumni Club Environmental and Renewable Group is planning its next quarterly event in May and we are fortunate to have John Flint as a keynote speaker. John was appointed the Chief Executive of the newly formed UK Infrastructure Bank (UKIB) in 2019. He brings a wealth of experience to build the new UKIB as he was the Group Chief Executive of HSBC with a career at HSBC spanning 30 years. The UKIB is an independent non-governmental bank funded by the Treasury to invest an initial £22 billion of guarantees in debt and equity in UK infrastructure projects over the next five to eight years, with the mandate to tackle 2 urgent challenges: Climate change and regional economic disparities. Please join us to hear of the UKIB’s plans for the future and how John is planning to lead his team. Save the date: 11 May at 6.30pm Please register your interest today.
