Women's Week Alumnae Networking ReceptionJoin area alumnae for a networking reception in celebration of Columbia Business School Women's Week. The second annual Women’s Week will celebrate the past, present, and future generations of women at Columbia Business School. The week runs from March 24-28, 2014 and features a range of programming that highlights the contributions of the diverse Columbia Business School women’s community.
Please join us as London alumni discuss a variety of topics about women in the workplace in an informal setting. In particular, our hosts will discuss and be open to questions about the following topics, among others:
Event Hosts: Katherine Priestley '92, Partner of Hudson Fairfax Group & Managing Partner of Park Vale Capital Limited. Katherine has over 25 years of experience throughout the US, Europe, and Asia in finance, consulting, M&A, and business operations. For the last 8 years she has run her own asset management company and for over 14 years she has advised a family investment office where she was responsible for asset allocation, manager selection, and risk management with a strong focus on alternative assets, and direct investing in growth companies especially technology including biotechnology and cybertechnology. She also has deep experience in managing companies, having served as Chief Financial Officer of an industrial company for eight years, ultimately leading this company through a sale. Katherine currently is on the Advisory Board of the Royal Society. Sofia Fenichell '96, CEO of Wonder Place Ltd, a company dedicated to creating next generation video platforms. RockPack was the first app launched in 2014 and was noted by New York Times as one of best new apps for iPads. Sofia has over 15 years experience in technology, investment and advisory. She co-founded a boutique financial services firm in the clean tech sector and before that spent 9 years as an investor and sell side analyst to top hedge funds and investment banks. Prior to her MBA, she spent 5 years in advertising and global brand strategy. Daniella Viloria ’00, Retail and Marketing Director at L'Oreal. Daniella has over 12 years experience in marketing luxury goods, where she has been responsible for managing large teams and for retail, market share, media strategy and profitability, both at L'Oreal and at Procter&Gamble Prestige Beaute. Previously, Daniella worked at McKinsey & Company and Santander Investment. Caroline Finch '01, JustFab Managing Director, UK. Caroline is a startup veteran who relishes leading high-growth organizations to customer acquisition goals. She has worked in the online retail and ad tech space for a variety of companies, most notably Vonage, Yahoo!, and Spotzer Media. Caroline has now launched the UK office of JustFab, a US venture-backed startup.
